"Our room smelled like a sewerage every time we turned on the shower. My kids were gagging. We had ants on the bathroom countertop. Told the front desk and all they said was sorry. Did not offer to move us and said no manager was present. Absolutely never going back."

"The elevators weren’t working and they put us on the 6 th floor. We are both senior citizens and we found it extremely difficult. Especially since we had to replace our key cards twice since they didn’t work."

"They had Champagne in our room for our 40th anniversary, chocolates and turndown every night. Friendly and responsive staff. Helped set up a taxi for day of check out as well as recommended a great place for massages and other fun activities. Already planning our next trip back."

"The location was perfect! It was right on the Main Street but set back so you didn’t hear any noises from the street. Great stay!"

"The view rooms are great, family room useful for 5 kids. The breakfast options are in a definite need for upgrade. Pastries pretty bad. No real fruit option ,etc"

"Michael, MGR was a super cool dude! A small hotel, and two phenomenal rooftop terraces!!! The views were amazing!! 😍 A block from the beach, convenient location to the island tour amenities! And close proximity to thee fantastic Avalon Grill! A MUST have! Our room was great. In too. Fridge found our beverages very cold! A MUST stay!"

"No shuttle to or from the boat. No early check in or late check out! No elevator on property. Has a weird smell throughout. Our light/fan remote would turn adjacent rooms lights n fan off and on and vice versa. No a/c. Room was hot and stuffy. Pillows were awful. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. Definitely will not stay here again."

"La Paloma is located close to shops and restaurants but also off the main drag so it feels quieter and more private. It seems well priced for what you get!"

"Room needed maintenance and a good cleaning. Behind Murphy bed was filthy, and there was huge hole in wall. There were cracked tiles everywhere, floor and kitchen counter. Blue awnings were either missing or torn. Toilet pressure was horrible. There were no screen on sliding glass door, so could not open to feel ocean breeze. Furniture was in disrepair. Beds were old. Everything was old and worn."

"Amazing experience with very clean property! Very little contact with staff, as not many available. Experience did not include many items listed on website including campfires w/smores, difficulty understanding bedding available with booking, as well as minimal available items in gift shop for emergency items."
