"We were greeted by Denise. She welcomed us and made us feel comfortable right away. Our room was clean. It is an old hotel so we knew it would have some quirks but that was fine by us. The location is prime and they provided continental breakfast. Those things mattered to us. Our door latch did not have all the parts so could not be latched but there was a dead bolt below that. Our tub was very deep and hard to get in and out of even with the hand bar. Overall we would definitely stay here...

"Location couldn't be beat. Right on the main street in Avalon and easy to get to everything. Mostly quiet in the room. Multiple stairs to get to the rooms which could be a challenge with luggage. Staff was very kind and helpful with several requests. Check in was very easy. Breakfast was adequate, actually appreciated the small size fruit and pastries so there wasn't too much waste. Room was quite small and quite dated. Clean, but could use a bit of freshening up/remodeling. ...

"We had a wonderful experience at Snug Harbor Inn! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Avalon, with beautiful surroundings and a charming, relaxing atmosphere. The property has a lovely boutique feel that makes it perfect for a romantic getaway. What truly makes this place special is its intimate atmosphere and attention to detail. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy the beauty of Catalina Island, and create wonderful memories. I would highly recommend Snug Harbor...

"This pink hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace with beautiful ocean views. However, the rooms are quite small, the furniture is old, and the facilities overall feel dated and could use an upgrade. The hotel is also located on a hill, quite a walk from the pier, so be prepared for an uphill walk. I also couldn’t store my luggage at the hotel and had to go to the pier and pay $25 for luggage storage. I found this very inconvenient and disappointing."
