Khách sạn Cattail Creek , Burnsville

"Due to the nature of the retreat… there was no face-to-face contact w the staff but they responded promptly to text or call. Our cottage at Mitchell 2 had an excellent view of Mt Mitchell east side."

"The stairs"

"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations....

"Everything about our stay was just outstanding!! Definitely will stay here again in the future if ever back in the area."

"Todo muy bueno"

"Property is in a very beautiful area of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was good size with balcony looking out over mountains. Dinner was good. Portions are large."

"Our room was very clean, and the staff made check‑in and check‑out easy and pleasant. Breakfast is included and offers the typical hotel options, but the coffee was surprisingly great. The hotel’s location is a plus—right off a major highway, close to shopping, and just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway entrance."

"The location is close to downtown. I could not pay with my phone because of poor cell signal. There was no back on the tv remote so batteries kept falling out. There was no “Do not disturb “ sign to hang on the door. The room was clean enough with plenty of towels, soap and toilet paper. We could hear the people beside us, above us and outside in the parking lot and every time someone took a shower or flushed a toilet."

"Close to Blue Ridge and places to eat."

"Awesome customer service from front desk to the restaurant.. Super clean"

"Spectacular views and easy access to nearby restaurants, quaint set up and comfortable lodgings. Great for a long weekend or quick getaway. Stayed here when we got tickets for the Bare Sky Observatory's Moon Madness show. Will return again soon"

"The staff was amazing from start to finish. The room was clean and sooo cute although we now know for next time to get a bigger room, my husband takes up a lot of space. Breakfast was so yummy. I had the pumpkin pancakes and they were amazing. Parking was easy and loved being able to remote start the car from our room (the weather chose to turn to cold that weekend). Will defiantly be going back. Also they left us a little Happy Anniversary card in our room."

"I stayed in the Milton room and it was beautiful. The Hotel has a very warm feeling with lots of comfortable seating downstairs to socialize. The owner sent me an email with self check-in instructions making it very easy to proceed directly to my room. She even called me leaving a message making sure I was aware of the email and asked if I had any questions. It made me feel right at home. I would definitely stay again and recommend them to any couple who wants a romantic getaway."

"Perfect for a short stay. Close to the Blue Ridge and lots of hikes"

"Recently remodeled motel is conveniently located in Black Mountain and is a great value. The room, bathroom, and linens were very clean. Staff was very friendly."

"The staff was great and was always available when needed."
