"Very small fridges, and you needed to use a microwave out in the hall.
We were on the 18th floor and the view was gorgeous.
Beds were comfy, shower had decent pressure.
There is a Starbucks and bar/restaurant on the main floor.
The bar is very expensive it was $19.51 for a double Crown Apple and Diet Coke.
Would have been nice if they validated parking. We spent $64 for parking for (2) nights and we did not leave the property. Maybe pay a flat fee.
The room was clean and didn't have a heavy bleach smell."

"We chose this hotel for our anniversary stay the appearance of the room was nice but when you got down to the cleanliness the comforter was white and had dirt rings around the comforter. The bathroom floor was dirty. There was no soap so we actually checked out early and left"

"I was there for 4 nights. They did not clean the room at all...even after I had to have them come spray for ants that were in the sofa sleeper.
The room WAS quiet, though. Amenities in the room were fine.
Breakfast was nothing special. Scrambled egg patties and sausage links every day for the hot.(I am not a make your own waffle, fan.)
Washer was out of service. Couldn't believe that large a place only had one washer. There is a laundromat nearby, that was reasonably priced.
I would consider staying there again, as it was close to my family."

"The building itself is amazing. There seemed to be a recent takeover so there were a number of staff who were not well trained. The house keeping was an issue every single day of our stay. Our keys deactivated twice in our 4 day stay. The restaurant was probably the worst of the experience. We ordered lunch with only one other table in the entire restaurant. Thirty plus minutes later no food. The main bar was the best of the experience. Friendly staff and served delicious cocktails. Also, my room had a gorgeous view and a fun vibe. Hoping that once the takeover has had some time, these issues will be ironed out. This hotel has great potential."

"This is an Historic Gem in Milwaukee. It is steps from Lake Michigan and while in an older neighborhood, close to many of the sites that Milwaukee has to offer.
The rooms are ideal for extended stays. Even the standard rooms have equipped kitchenettes with stove, refrigerator, sink and microwave. Larger rooms and suites have full kitchens.The rooms are large and have a lot of closet space.
The staff is very friendly and pleasant to interact with. Another plus is that there is a restaurant and bar attached. While we didn't visit this trip we have in previous stays and found the food good and reasonably priced.
It is our Milwaukee go to and I think it is a property worth checking out. "
