"The front desk staff were super friendly! The room was large ,clean and the bed was super comfortable. We were not there long enough to use the pool but it looked so refreshing"
"A magnificent surprise !! Amazing architecture, quiet, a library, amazing home-cooked breakfast, and a most interesting host. This place will be on my “always stay” list. I think of this place and the host almost every day since I left."
"We found stuff from someone else's stay under one of the beds, which made me question cleanliness. Also, we were disappointed to find there is no elevator, as we are both disabled."
"Very clean room with nice soaps and lotions. Chef was out during breakfast, so we didn’t get to sample the make to order breakfast, but overall a very positive stay."
"Pros: Enjoyed a cocktail at the reception desk, a really nice experience after a long drive. Nice location, easy walking distance to town. Good Mexican food at Felix’s. Mattress, towels, linens, soap, shampoo etc all high-quality. Great light but satisfying breakfast: yogurt parfait, good coffee. Cons: Receptionist was efficient though not terribly friendly. Air conditioner was noisy enough that it affected our sleep. It’s something I mentioned to the owners via a text that they never responded to (maybe it’s a non-monitored account). Location next to busy Rt 70 may be a problem for some but the outside noise level was tolerable."
