"The location was fabulous and our room had an amazing view over the beach. We had dinner in the bar area and had a window seat overlooking the sea. The food was wonderful and the staff worked really hard to provide excellent service. Harriet was chatty, friendly and really concscientious and is a real credit to the team. "Our stay at Y Cartws was lovely and relaxing, very cosy cottage. Was amazing to walk the ground and interact with the goats and horses. The nearby river was very relaxing to listen to, especially in the hot tub at night. Hot tub is at a set temperature which cannot be adjusted. Amenities were great, kitchen is well stocked with utensils and had delicious home made brownies waiting for us. Property was mostly clean but there was some negatives, bathroom was either mouldy or mould stained....

"Off to a bad start due to the, otherwise very pleasant, owner pouncing on us as we arrived following a day of travel. We really just wanted to be left alone to arrive and unpack. Not the right time to attempt to convey information and instructions as we unpacked from the car. Nicely situated geographically with a lovely view of the sea from the front facing windows (the only windows unfortunately) and front door. "Properly was nice and central to the town. Activities in walking and driving distance. Only downside is they dont want dogs upstairs but do not provide a gate on the stairs. Having to make a makeshift block not easy."
