"Bed was comfy. Bathroom was roomy and set up well. Lots of room in main area. "

"Breakfast was pretty basic and unfortunately we had to ask the front desk to refill the pancake batter, which they did immediately. Staff was helpful and gracious. Main areas were beautiful as was the location."

"I was double charged for my stay. I still have not received a refund. It took a hour to check me in. The key creator didn’t work, so I had no key. The microwave didn’t work and I requested twice for a repair; no response. Toilet wasn’t clean upon arrival. Found someone else’s underwear near the bed. No towels in pool area…when requested the lady said there were no towels available."

"Rooms were clean but in rough conditions. Paint chipped walls separating from leaking water. Pool room was dirty with what appeared to be mold by windows, spa jets do not work. Staff was amazing breakfast was legit. Older hotel in need of some updates "

"There is a FULL fridge in the room! I kept looking for a mini-fridge. You can even make ice by switching on the icemaker. The room has a table for eating at, a two burner electric stove top. It's really quite amazing. Also, the window has a simple chain pull down blind. Forget wrestling with heavy blinds or sheers and pulling on those stupid rods. Everything was generous and the TV chair was big and comfy."

"Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Only downside was the exhaust fan couldn’t be shut off and it was extremely loud and rattled in the bathroom."

"AC was broke. At 2am could not take it any longer they moved us to another room however system was down but they got us in another room. Staff was great property was kinda run down not staff fault needs money invested in new carpet etc."

"My stay at Silver Heart was truly magical. The property is stunning and full of character, and everything was sparkling clean. I could not have felt any more welcomed and will absolutely stay there again if and when I'm in Kansas City area next time. "

"Cigarette hole burns in the covers and sheets. My kids have bites from there and I’m pretty sure they are bed bugs. The pictures were deceiving to say the least. I’ve stayed at other days in and they were in pretty nice condition. I booked because the pictures looked decent and it had a pool. Needless to say my kids were disappointed because I wasn’t trusting the integrity of the pool because the room was not matching the pictures. Will not stay there again. I will say the staff was friendly...

"Under renovation (which we were informed about the day of our check in). Upon check in, we were told we were lucky because we would be in one of the newly renovated rooms. Unfortunately, they are poorly done in every way. Nothing was functional, everything is cheap and done halfway (missing outlet covers, power strips hanging at the back of the bed, visible caulking), entire hotel smelled bad. Additionally, the desk was unattended most evenings with easy access to the building, the food permit...
