"The 2nd oldest Chalet in Portugal with so much charm. Staff is attentive and the property is clean and well maintained. Great location away from all the crowds yet close enough to everything. Midway between the city center and the beach Praia Grande..will definitely go back."

"Our flight arrived before checkin time, so we emailed the staff a day or so in advance. We were able to check in and they went out of their way to have the room ready as soon as possible for our use. The staff was very friendly and accomodating."

"Good value for a family room for a brief stopover in Lisboa. The area is away from the touristy area and is interesting to get a flavour of other Lisboa neighborhoods. We felt safe walking there in early Evening but took a cab home late at night. We hadn’t realized we’d have to share a bathroom with strangers but the shared bathrooms were very clean. Ladies shower didn’t have hot water but that was no big deal for a quick shower and staff said they’d fix it promptly. Front desk lady was so nice...

"A little slice of paradise! The old converted farmhouse is beautiful and charming. The staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room huge by any standard especially for Europe. "Wonderful breakfast with eggs made to order and bread basket/fresh fruit,coffee,fresh squeezed orange juice brought to the table…many other options at a self serve table.. my room had 2 walkouts. Lots of sitting areas to admire marvelous view and kitchenette. Walkable to many tourist attractions and just a couple hundred feet from shops and restaurants. Be prepared to walk uphill downhill everywhere and there’s no sidewalks. Many people use those Trekking or Nordic poles… if you have any balance...
