"The staff was excellent. Very helpful and pleasant. The hotel was very clean. The complaints we had were the mattress was very uncomfortable and the the Wi-Fi did not work in the room as well as the TV station broadcasts which went in and out (possibly due to storms) Did not appreciate seeing an adult TV choice as an option in a gamily hotel. No complementary hot water for tea or coffee, only water in the lobby. Not much of a snack bar. Very close to the college campus, which was nice. Ask for a...

"I spend about 150 nights a year in hotel rooms. Far from the worst I've ever stayed in but a far cry from the 8.8 customer review rating. Property was tired and our room, #108, was even more so. Stains in the bathroom, the carpet was damp, and it looked like somebody spilled a coffee in the heating / air unit, which clearly did not get cleaned up. Common spaces marginally better."

"The room was dirty when we got in. The amenities are outdated. There is a very cozy feel in the rooms and the lodge, but the price for the rooms is far too expensive. Keep the rooms outdated and charge $100 or update them and keep them at current price. If we come back we will be looking for alternative lodging"

"The staff was nice, the room was disgustingly dirty there were stains on the bed spreads and on the mattress themselves, the sink kept backing up with every use. The walls and baseboards were gross, the tub still had someone else’s hair in it. I definitely would not stay there again and would not recommend anyone else to stay there."

"There's a reason we return to this hotel every year on our way to Vermont. I made a total of six reservations for the trip. The manager at Best Western Plus Harrisonburg was the only person to follow up with a special request I listed when making reservations. We weren't able to stay for breakfast this time, but we've enjoyed it in the past. It is a very clean hotel, and we already look forward to staying with them again in 2027."

"I would say here again the staff were very helpful and kind. They had a cool pool area for the kids that also had a relax area for the adults."
