"It's not a good value.
It's an old motel that's just been renovated into a hotel.
Its rooms are clones of many other "hotels" like the Super 8s or Quality Inns found throughout the United States.
Pros:
- Good proximity to downtown.
Cons:
- The bathroom with the sink in the room was clogged, and after brushing my teeth (I keep the faucet turned off when I brush), I couldn't flush the water... not a good thing when your friend has to use it right after you!
The wall was stained, the tub had a lot of mold around the edges, the door was dirty with rusty hinges. (See photos of everything.) Only one tiny bottle of shampoo for the shower that two people shared.
- The fridge was off, and there was no microwave as shown in the photo on the website.
The coffee maker (in the bathroom) was dusty enough to make it unusable.
- There was a square hole on the wall next to the bed, like a job that wasn't finished! (See photo)
- Rooms not soundproofed and slow wifi
- $10 extra per night for parking is a lot.
I'd also add that the guy at the front desk, although he should smile a little more and not treat guests like he was doing them a favor by talking to him, was kind enough to store our backpacks in a closet when we arrived, as it was too early to check in.
He also offered us free parking for our motorcycle for the night!
Breakfast was basic with little choice, but decent!
Bottom line...would I go back? No!
For that price, there are hotels of a higher category and with better service"
