"This was possibly our best hotel experience ever. It was my husband's 50th birthday and management helped to make it truly special.The hotel room and facilities were stunning. The Cliff Bay is very well located, on a beautiful bay a few minutes walk away from the port area (I would recommend this distance away from the cruise ships). We enjoyed a couple of meals from room service (best burger ever...and we've tried many). On the opposite side of the scale, the Il Gallo D'Oro Michelin experience...

"One of the top hotels I have ever stayed. The service was nothing less than exceptional. The Reserve was the high end room in this hotel and it was worth every penny. We felt like royalty. From the greeting on the airport tarmac to the wonderful checkin. The housekeeping staff was so amazing. We have really never had this level of perfection in any other place we have stayed. "We love Porto Mare and have stayed a few times before. The facilities are great and the staff are very welcoming! The breakfast buffet is the BEST! This time we bought the three dinners at Atlantida restaurant, all of which we fab but the fish and seafood night was the highlight! Our room was clean and had a lovely view over the gardens We’ll be back in 2026 :)"

"We had a wonderful stay in Madeira. The apartment was fantastic which made our holiday even better. It was very comfortable and was well resourced and had everything we needed and more. It was close to facilities e.g. Mall, ( including Supermarket and McDonalds), buses, taxis, some restaurants etc. Beautiful sea view. Our Host, Abel, was great and helped with any information we required. He also booked our taxi to and from the apartment, which was very convenient for us. All in all, great...
