"We have stayed at the Pestana Lido every time visiting Madeira. It has the best location, wonderful staff and excellent food and drinks. You are literally surrounded by amazing ocean views from every room. We love the personal service due to its smaller size hotel. "

"Excellent Hotel. Very friendly staff. Very easy access to downtown. Took us 10 minutes to walk to downtown cable car site. If you need any supermarket items, the mall is right downstairs and there is a nice supermarket there also. There is filtered water on every floor in a machine.The breakfast is also excellent. Great coffee machine, selection of fruits and cheeses and breads, as well as numerous hot entrees. Also, very big plus was we rented a car and used the free parking in the downstairs...

"Great location for a wee break. Short walk from lots of great cafes, restaurants and the water front. The room was spacious, clean, balcony, comfortable beds, nice shower, plenty hot water. Complementary drink at the hotel bar was a nice touch although the hotel draught beer wasn’t the best! Breakfast had lots of lovely fresh fruit, unfortunately not fresh fruit juice but good choice of cooked options, breads, pastries etc. All in all would definitely recommend."

"Awesome rooftop pool and view towards the sea. Location was also a great location for walking into central Funchal and had bus links too. For any tours booked it’s in the catchment area for hotel collection at least we found anyway. Breakfast was great too! "

"Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt auf Madeira. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, sodass man vieles bequem zu Fuß erreichen kann. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gepflegt. Besonders angenehm war die Möglichkeit, den Spa-Bereich und die Pools im Nachbarhotel mitzunutzen. Dort konnten wir wunderbar entspannen und den Tag ausklingen lassen. Insgesamt ein tolles...
