"My son and I stayed at this property twice for about 5 nights. I was super impressed. There were mostly two men who ran the front desk and they were both amazing!! They helped us in many little ways. For example the day we were to fly home one of them arranged for me to see a doctor on short notice to check an injury from our hiking in southern Peru. This hotel is lucky to have such amazing staff. Resort also super clean and all staff are friendly!!! Eric Bennett"

"The poolside al fresco dining and bar was so great. The river rafting tour they arranged was super fun, with convenient pickup from the hotel. The staff are all so nice. The room was cleaned well and was quite comfortable. "

I would recommend they have screens for their windows to prevent bugs from coming into the dining room. The king room we had was excellent. "Great place to stay in historic San Lazaro quarter of downtown Arequipa. Nice and attentive staff. Free parking is a great bonus. At a walking distance from the Plaza de Armas, city’s Main Square, and other important monasteries, convents, churches and museums. Clean room. This is a boutique type of a hotel that is modern but inside of a historic building in a colonial Spanish style. "

However, to ensure a room that is quiet-when booking-ask for a hotel room that faces the courtyard not the busy road or parking garage. Easy walking access to historical centre, shopping, museums and many cafes. Highly recommended. "

"Spacious room, convenient location, good breakfast on the patio, but most of all, the owner is incredibly helpful. He arranged for our laundry to be cleaned on short notice, he gave us a lot of advice on what to see and where to eat. He also arranged a driver to take us to Colca canyon. So helpful!"

"Exceptional room. Amazing staff. Excellent wifi and breakfast. The location on Plaza de Armas can’t be beat. So walkable. We loved our stay! We had one hiccup. We asked for early check-in. Reception said none was available. Upon arriving at approximately 5:30 AM after a 16 hour overnight bus ride, we asked again. Reception said they could store our bags. Check-in was 1pm. Then they said for $50 USD we could check in early. We declined and stored our bags. We went for breakfast with fellow...

They even made us a take away breakfast bag because our flight was early on leaving. We have not had this kind of dedicated service in the USA for years .
