"The hotel is clean and well maintained. The pool has plenty of sunbeds and even a little hot tub. There is also a little shop were you buy drinks if needed. The bar drinks prices are very reasonable. And there was a free water fountain which saves you buying bottle after bottle. The food was much better than the usual hotel buffet. They had theme nights with tacos, a chocolate fountain and ice cream. Also close to a supermarket and a cafe if needed and a 10, 15 minute walk to the Yumbo Centre. If that's not your bag they also have entertainment every evening such as bingo or a singer. One improvement I would make is having a mini fridge in the rooms, but such a minor issue for such a nice hotel. Would definitely stay again."

"Had a great stay here. Good value, great selection at the buffet. Be aware that rooms facing the pool stage can be noisy throughout the day and at night with music."

"Rooms are getting very dated. Mould on shower seals etc and on grout in shower. I watched the cleaner and she was spending 7 or 8 minutes when ‘cleaning’ rooms. Floor not mopped even once during the week stay. Reception staff quite nice but slow service at the bar. It’s close to yumbo which is why I stayed but there are definitely nicer places to stay as they haven’t looked after the place well enough since the refurb of several years ago. "

"We booked fairly last minute for a weeks getaway. The property was clean, reasonably well maintained and in a good location for the beach etc. The room was decent, though we had twin beds and the kitchenette was a little under equipped, it was spotless and in decent condition. The pool area was lovely, not crowded and the bar was easily accessible. Be careful on the tiled floor though. It’s slippery when wet but there are lots of warning signs. Good breakfast buffet and the evening meals looked decent (though we didn’t have any, it was usually busy). There’s a handy supermarket around the corner. The staff are friendly and efficient too. Great base for a holiday."
