"The excellent staff did all they could to make or stay as pleasant as possible. However, the rooms were outdated and a bit scruffy. We had to ask for the rugs to be vacuumed and the bathroom floor washed before we felt comfortable with the cleanliness. The major drawbacks were that the hotel is without air conditioning and some rooms are quite noisy, as they are on the street with bar and restaurants all along the street on which the hotel resides. That said, I would consider looking at it again...

"The owners were absolutely amazing, they gave us a lot of useful information upon our arrival. Extremely helpful. They even made us a breakfast to go on our departure day as we had to leave very early in the morning. The breakfast was wonderful. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Also the location was great as well. Very close to bus stops and the train station."

"Stayed at Ibis Schiphol Amsterdam and overall, I was satisfied with the service. Check in was fast and efficient, I had a very basic room but functional, it was clean but in need of some updates. Breakfast and dinner buffet were in the negative side, these were expensive and the food variety and quality was not even average. The hotel location is very convenient; the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the airport which is very useful and it runs frequently. I would say for a stay of one or...

"The room was clean and bright. The staff was great. Loved that there was a shuttle to the airport. The only downside was no ramp entrance. Getting the luggage up the stairs was a chore."

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in a long time. When we had come in earlier in the day, two SEPARATE employees had confirmed that we had 2 separate rooms (just in different buildings). When we checked in for the first room, he had said that the room was finished being cleaned and just needed to be inspected so we could return in about 20 minutes to pick up our keys. In the meantime, we decided to go into the city to sightsee since we figured we could just pick up our room...

The staff were friendly and professional, and the dinner was excellent with a great variety of choices\. Overall, a wonderful stay—I would definitely recommend it and stay here again ."
