"The sleepover at Hotel Jozef was a nice short stay with some "surprises". The hotel has no reception in the afternoon, despite being written that you can arrive from 14h! I had luck to call them in advance by phone. We should get a key code by email. However, I did not obtain any! If you would like to stay there, consider contacting them personally after the booking. "The hotel has an ideal location on lake Bohinj. It's a bit unclear where reception is when you arrive at the parking lot and first impression from the staff was not great. They were not very friendly for some reason. We upgraded from a basement room with a view of a parking lot 1st night to a great corner suite on top floor with an amazing view of the lake and mountain and a large bath 2nd night. Breakfast was good and we had light dinner and dessert at the hotel as well, which was good....

"Such a quaint and charming hotel, and our huge family sized hotel room was perfect after being cramped in a small room on a boat. Our room was on the top floor and it had tall, vaulted ceilings and many windows, the bathroom is huge, shower, water pressure with perfect, ,and with the two extra twin beds created a lot more space. We did not need the extra beds, but certainly enjoyed the king size comfortable bed. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and two nights in a row we were tired of eating...

"I loved this location because it wasn’t in the busy area like lake Bled or lake Bohinj. Nice, quiet area for hiking and lots of cycling paths. There is no air conditioning but we asked for a fan and that really helped. It was really hot when we were there. The shower had water pressure issues and kept changing temperature as I was showering. The kitchen was stocked with the basics. The decor is definitely retro but I felt it worked for this place.
