"An absolutely gorgeous property that showcases its 700-year-old history in the most elegant way. I love it here so much that I extended my stay by three weeks. We stayed here because we wanted to see the flower fields near Casteluccio. We drove up from Rome in about 4 hours through beautiful mountains. This castle (a former defensive fortification) was a breathtaking sight at the end of the drive. We were warmly greeted by the owners, Francesco and his sister Lara. Our baggage was taken up the stairs via an amazing custom monorail.

"We stayed for just one night in the "Lu Magazzi". It was a beautiful room and looked like it had been very recently built. Everything was spotlessly clean and new. We enjoyed the breakfast with all the home produced products. We particularly loved the Torta di noci (Walnut cake). "Property was very nice and clean. Couple of issues I had.1. We waited outside for an hour and half waiting to get in. I tried to call but no answer. Finally a neighbor came and let us in. They asked me to upload our passports to the site on Expedia but there is nowhere to upload it to. So without uploading we couldn’t get our room.
