She even remembered my first name on the second day of my stay - a first in my numerous visits to Spain. "As a stop on a father son Camiño Ingles, I was concerned about the location as it would require a taxi to go there and back. I didn’t need to worry. The taxi ride from Cafe Avelina was easy and the location was heavenly. The feel of the building, the family-like friendliness of the staff, and the excellent food. I have not even talking about the view overlooking a forest down onto a stream. This is where you want to stay. Highly recommended!!! This was exceptional!"

"Jose and the staff are very welcoming. This hotel is a little off the Camino Ingles path but worth it. The pool is lovely! The rooms do not have AC and on a hot day it was a problem.
This property is so unique i would recommend cutting your Camino in half to stay here!"
