"Overall, I recommend the Chateau. When we first arrived, we were given a room that had a strong mildew smell. We informed the hotel and they moved us immediately- they even let us pick the new room. The rooms were clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the pool several times. The courtyard is quiet- it’s so nice to enjoy the chaos of Bourbon street and come back to a quiet, serene and safe space. Miss Elaine was an absolute doll- just top tier personality and hospitality. I do have two suggestions- 1. new window dressings- the pull down shades let in a ton of light and it was extremely hard to sleep past 7. And I wanted to sleep past 7. 2. Make sure there is counter space or a cabinet in the bathrooms- there was NO where to store our toiletries from traveling."
