"staff were really bad and shuttle service is not provided and when asked then mentioned it was for a price which is insane compared to cab almost 10x more than it."

"Ok"

"Excellent stay at the Taj Bengal as always! Bimal at concierge Was extremely helpful as was Nafisa at the Sonargaon restaurant! My only complaint was the breakfast which lacked imagination and was more or less repeating the same items every morning ! They had more of Indian items and I felt the continental has to be more variety"

The staff is great, kind, friendly, attentive, breakfast crew Naved, Aloke, Abhay, Ashik, Jabina, Marful, Rahul and many others made our every morning with their smiles. Big thank you to all front desk staff, bell stand, housekeeping department, pool and gym attendants, we appreciate you all for personal approach and for making our stay so pleasant."

"Beautiful hotel, excellent, very helpful staff. Dining facilities, choices and quality excellent. Neighborhood is truly Kolkata and unapologetic India, Busy, crowded, noisy and alive. High energy atmosphere with some impressions of sadness and long road to full and equal development."

"So welcoming and helpful staffs !"

"Very helpful staff- gave recommendations of what to do and where to eat. Had to wait some time for our room to be ready."
