"The room was spacious and clean. Since it’s a vintage building, there are some areas that show wear and tear. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking in the rear was secure. On Saturday night, it was full. There are a few shops near by, but the main advantage is the proximity of a Q-Line stop. "What a great stay we had at The Cochrane House! Our hosts were accommodating and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We stayed at the Cochrane House after attending a couple of sporting events in Detroit. It was so nice to come back to a place that was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast arrived at our door the following morning. Coffee just as we like it and homemade biscuits. The sisters that own this home are terrific hosts. And not only do they care about their guests, they are also committed...

"Was really disappointed that we couldn't leave our car parked for the baseball game. Spending as much as we did you'd think they'd let us keep the car in their lot for a few hours after checking out. FYI: when their site says they have "game day rates" for parking that does NOT mean you can pay to leave your vehicle there after checking out."
