I just had trouble to open the gate; I arrived very late, was tired, the interphone is not very user-friendly and I had problems to contact the hotel by phone (the issue maybe due to my own cell phone). Definitely, I will rent a room again if needed -in one of my trips driving from Belgium to Spain and viceversa."

"Fantastic location right next to Gare de Tours. 15min walk to historic Vieux Tours. We had a lovely view of the train station which itself is beautiful to look at. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We were offered a free glass of wine during their happy hour (6-8pm). While our room was compact it had almost everything we needed. The only improvement would be a mini-fridge in the room. We didn't get the breakfast but it looked decent. Not sure if it is worth €18 compared to other...

"This is a guest house rather than a standard hotel, although it has standard amenities. Situated in the countryside near Chenonceau castle, the property is located in a former mill house bordering the Cher river, which some rooms overlook. The house is surrounded by a large garden, with a swimming pool, pétanque court, ping pong and access to paths along the riverside. The staff is welcoming, informed, and extremely helpful, especially with advice about restaurants and activities in the area....

"My stay as a solo traveler here was so great! The location is perfect, next to a castle overlooking the Loire River! It's right next to a pedestrian area of restaurants and shopping and it's very safe. I walked to and from the train station, about 15-20 minutes, met a tour group nearby at the tourism office, all easily accessible. The hotel staff are excellent, so helpful and nice.
