"The property looks well maintained and it has been recently renovated.You can tell that this is family run motel and that they are cutting corners to stay afloat (no sugar packets at the breakfast bar but 3 huge bowls of sweet n low. I was asked to wait 10 minutes to check in by someone who barely spoke English while he went to get someone to check me in (who had been sleeping). (It was 5pm), the same people doing multiple jobs, etc). The beds here are very firm and the air conditioning would not go below 70° (we like it very cool when we sleep). It was an okay stay and there are dining options within walking distance. And there are several dining options down the hill but would recommend driving to them. The property was nice and quiet too. We would stay here again for a short stay. It would be nice to have use of the pool though. It was closed when we were there (July)."
