We've got the lowdown on how to make your journey a pleasant experience. Follow our tips and you'll be speeding through airport security and enjoying Ajigasawa in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Air travel can be a great experience if you bring the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as a toothbrush and lip balm, a spare set of clothes and a good book. Next, leave space in your bag for your mobile phone, a charger, any daily medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to bring your passport, travel papers and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and conditioner in your checked luggage. Any liquids or gels in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by security. Pointed or sharp objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous goods which are flammable or explosive, such as spray paint, flares and gasoline, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- The aisles of an airplane aren't the place for a fashion parade. Don comfortable layers and opt for shoes that are flat, enclosed and easy to slip on and off.
- The result of sustained periods of immobility, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long flights. Lower your risks by drinking water, keeping your lower limbs moving and wearing compression tights or socks.
