Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Chimborazo could be completely painless or it could go on forever. We've compiled some useful hints that will help you start your next great escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a cruisy experience if you carry the right things. Firstly, you'll want some basic toiletry items, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a clean pair of socks and a good book. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your electronic devices, chargers, any vital medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow as well. Lastly, be sure to bring your passport, travel papers and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) won't be allowed on. Sharp or pointed objects, like your beloved pocket knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as aerosols and fireworks, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your priority when deciding what to wear on your flight. Loose clothing is a wise option, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to improve your circulation.
