Depending on where you're coming from, your journey to Higashiizu could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've compiled some tips that will help you start your next great escape on a positive note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First things first, pack your passport, important documents, bank cards and vital medications. Next, you'll need some extra in-flight entertainment to while away the time. A thrilling book and a phone filled with your favourite movies are some wonderful options. If you hope to catch more than just forty winks, a neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, make room for a few toiletry items so you'll touchdown feeling fresh as a daisy.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have sharp objects (like a pocket knife) hiding in one of the zippers of your carry-on luggage. Other banned items include explosive or flammable substances, such as fuel and fireworks, and gels and liquids in containers with a volume of more than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when deciding what to wear on board. Loose, breathable clothing is a sensible option, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged inactivity, can be a risk on long-haul flights. Try to walk around the cabin and stretch your legs or do some gentle exercises in your seat to promote better circulation.
