We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a stress-free experience. Follow our tips and you'll be cruising through airport security and discovering Karacasu before you know it.What to pack in your hand luggage:
- First and foremost, put in your passport, travel docs, bank cards and vital medications. Next, you'll want some entertainment to help pass the time. A juicy book and a phone filled with your favourite movies are some great options. If you intend to catch forty winks, a comfy neck pillow and a pair of earplugs will also come in handy. Finally, make room for a toothbrush and some cleansing wipes to ensure you step off the plane looking and feeling fresh.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Squeeze all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your precious Swiss Army knife, and dangerous products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be your highest priority when choosing what to wear on board. Consider your footwear with care too, as swelling of the feet and ankles are a common side effect of flying. Flat, slightly roomy shoes are always a good idea.
- It's likely you've heard about DVT (deep vein thrombosis), a blood clot condition caused by prolonged periods of sitting. There's lots you can do to lower your risk. Wear a quality pair of compression tights or socks, stay hydrated and keep your legs and feet moving. Walk around the cabin when possible or try out some exercises in your seat.
