We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight an enjoyable experience. Follow our insider tips and you'll be cruising through the airport and exploring Lipuški in next to no time. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane ride can be a stress-free experience if you carry the right stuff. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a clean pair of socks and a few magazines. Secondly, find a spot in your carry-on bag for your phone and charger, your important medications and perhaps a neck pillow too. Lastly, remember to take your passport, travel papers and your credit cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hair gel in your checked baggage. Any liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your trusty pocket knife, and dangerous products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and fuels, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your top priority when choosing what to wear during your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart choice, as are flat, slightly roomy shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-distance flights. It results from blood clotting due to poor circulation and inactivity, so do some gentle leg and foot exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression socks or tights.
