Depending on where you're coming from, your trip to Naha could be no sweat at all or it could go on forever. We've compiled some tips that will help you start your next big adventure on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a stress-free experience if you've got all the right gear. Firstly, you'll want a few toiletry items, such as a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare change of clothes and something to read. Secondly, leave space in your bag for your mobile phone, a charger, your important medications and perhaps a quality neck pillow as well. Last, but definitely not least, don't forget to take your passport, travel papers and some cash.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Sharp or pointed objects, like your pocket knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, spray paint and matches, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your priority is to feel as comfortable as you can. Pick shoes that are easy to slip on and off, dress in loose, natural fibers and don't forget to bring a jacket in case it gets cold in the cabin.
- The result of prolonged periods of inactivity, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a blood clot condition that can affect passengers during long-haul flights. Reduce the risks by staying hydrated, keeping your legs and ankles moving and wearing compression socks or tights.
