We've got the lowdown on how to make your flight a pleasant experience. Follow our tips and tricks and you'll be speeding through airport security and seeing the best of Pak Tho in no time at all. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a pleasure if you carry the right gear. Firstly, you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant, toothpaste and a toothbrush, a spare change of clothes and a few magazines. Next, find a spot in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, medications and perhaps a proper neck pillow as well. Lastly, be sure to take your passport, travel papers and your bank cards.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Put all your full-sized bottles of hair gel and hairspray in your checked luggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on suitcase larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated. Sharp objects, like your trusty Swiss Army knife, and products which are flammable or explosive, such as aerosol cans, flares and strong acids, are also not allowed.
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should be your main priority when deciding what to wear during your flight. Loose, breathable clothing is a smart option, as are roomy, closed-toe shoes.
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) is a risk on long-haul flights. It's the result of blood clots forming due to inactivity and poor circulation, so do some gentle foot and leg exercises in your seat and consider wearing compression tights or socks.
