Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be an enjoyable experience if you're prepared. We've made a list of handy tips that will help get your San Nicolas de los Garza holiday started on the right foot. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- A plane trip can be a cruisy experience if you carry the right stuff. First of all you'll need basic toiletries, such as toothpaste, a toothbrush and some deodorant, a spare set of clothes and a good book. Secondly, make room in your hand luggage for your electronic gadgets, chargers, any daily medications and perhaps a cosy neck pillow too. Lastly, and most importantly, remember to take your passport, travel docs and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Pack all your full-sized bottles of shampoo and hairspray in your checked baggage. Any gels or liquids in your carry-on bag larger than 3.4 ounces (100 millilitres) will be confiscated by authorities. Pointed or sharp objects, like your Swiss Army knife, and products which are explosive or flammable, such as flares, chemicals agents and fuels, are also restricted.
What to wear on a flight:
- Your main aim is to feel as comfortable as possible. Opt for slip-on footwear, dress in loose, natural-fibre clothing and remember to bring a sweater in case you get chilly in the cabin.
- It's likely you've heard about deep vein thrombosis (DVT), a blood clot condition caused by long periods of sitting. To lower your risk on board, stay hydrated, consider wearing compression socks or tights and move your lower limbs often.
