Wherever you're jetting in from, flying can be a seamless experience if you prepare well enough. We've put together a list of handy tips that will help get your Szczyrk escape started on the right note. What to pack in your hand luggage:
- Travelling on a plane can be a cruisy experience if you take the right things. First of all you'll need basic toiletries, such as deodorant and a toothbrush, a spare pair of socks and a good read. Next, leave space in your bag for your phone and charger, any daily medications and maybe a comfy neck pillow as well. Lastly, and most importantly, be sure to take your passport, travel documents and some money.
Do not pack the following items in your hand luggage:
- Double-check that you don't have a Swiss Army knife hiding in one of the zippers of your hand luggage. Other restricted items include flammable or explosive substances, such as bleach and fuel, and gels and liquids in containers larger than 3null4 ounces (100 milliliters).
What to wear on a flight:
- Comfort should always be your highest priority when deciding what to wear on board. Consider your choice of footwear with care too, as swollen ankles and feet are a common occurrence. Roomy, closed-toed shoes are your best bet.
- A serious condition by the name of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) is a potential risk on long-haul flights. It results from blood clots forming due to poor circulation. Walking up and down the aisle and doing foot and leg exercises while seated helps to prevent this happening. Wearing a quality pair of compression socks is also a wise idea.
