"A very pleasant surprise. This is a very 'value-centric' place to lay your head. Very clean, accommodating check in process, Close to all needed stuff (food, gas, etc). Proximity to Burt Lake State Park is great! It is a bit noisy in the morning due to existing on a main road - not the Owners' fault. Not disappointed in the least. "

The showers are alittle outdated, but I feel that comes with the location! Gene & Lori the managers are the sweetest!! We enjoyed our conversation with them! On low wind nights they have bonfires on the beach!! Overall this is the place to stay!! "

"We were originally going to stay in Traverse City but they had no availability in pet friendly hotels, we had searched for hotels around Petoskey and surrounding areas but no luck! We decided to try and book in Mackinaw City and luckily we were able to get 2 rooms and pet friendly. The gentleman behind the counter was managing the people the phone calls asking for room availability some people were upset but even he didn't expect the busyness but he didn't lose composure and remained polite!...
