"Really unique hotel in a great area"

"Beautiful, large room wtih tasteful, thoughtfully-selected furniture and amenities. Location was excellent for visiting the historic landmarks. Media system in room was problematic and did not work over the 5-night visit. Efforts to fix it were unsuccessful."

"This was a gorgeous hotel, and we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The location was great and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The room was large and exceptionally well maintained, and the hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. The only downsides were outlets that didn’t always work and you could hear everyone walking/moving above you. For our group, it was easy to overlook those issues and we mostly attributed it to the fact that it’s a historic hotel....

"It’s a cute little historic hotel across the street from the American Revolution Museum. Very close to all the historic sites. The bed was extremely comfortable.. we slept the night thru! Shower was nice and warm and very nice. Room temp perfect! Breakfast was ok, but they did have waffles and whipped cream!"

"A wonderful experience. The historic house is elegant, warm, and very well maintained. Our room was spacious and carefully outfitted with a mixture of stately antiques and later pieces. The breakfast was truly a surprise with an extensive variety of food and drink. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again. It could not have been better."

"This hotel is the best of the best. The service is top notch. Decor is modern and interesting (Basquiat theme). The food in the restaurant was really good. This team cares about, and is really good at hospitality. This staff gives The Four Seasons competition. Excellent job, and we will return!"

"Beautiful room in the ninth floor. Comfortable bed, quiet, and helpful valet parking. Great location in the city too, next to relaxing Rittenhouse Square (park) and within walking distance to many nice restaurants."

"Lighting in the bathroom was very poor. We had an event to go to and preparing hair and make up would be impossible. Front desk was able to send up a light up make up mirror. Was told they only had a few. They need to get on that."

"Good location for walking from the hotel to restaurants and sights, you have to pay for valet parking, which is $60. Room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated, service was friendly and professional."

"Primo requisito di un albergo? Un letto per dormire...nella.stanza in questione (921) impossibile prendere sonno, sembrava di dormire in mezzo alla strada. Neanche i tappi per le orecchie erano funzionali. Purtroppo i bambini riposavano e noi adulti non potevamo neanche richiedere il cambio stanza. Ovviamente la mattina i manager nessun dispiacere alla consapevolezza del disagio tanto era tutto pagato da un vaucher Expedia del sottoscritto. Ovviamente tutto documentato con video e mail alla...

"The Kimpton Hotel Monaco is an excellent choice while visiting Philladelphia. The hotel was right next to the Independence mall with lots of great historic places to visit. My room had a view of Independence Hall and I loved it. Red Owl Tavern serves a great breakfast and you can enter right from the hotel. Lots of good walking tours in the area. Highly recommend."
