We loved having our own little apartment. Although we didn’t use it, having laundry as an option was great. Very simple, cute decor, loved all the Chicago touches. Excellent location! We plan to stay there on our next trip to Chicago.

Awesome place. Feels like a home and very comfortable. Plenty of room with 4 people. The kitchen and two full bathrooms made the trip even more enjoyable. Great place.

This was such a lovely place to stay for a getaway. It's right in the heart of a great spot in lincoln park with easy access to restauraunts. The staff were nothing but friendly and all of the instructions were clear and politely provided. I would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to others. Thanks for such a memorable and great stay! P.S. - our room had the most comfortable bed i have ever experienced.

The apartment was clean and well furnished. The spund machines in each bedroom were a thoughtful touch for a downtown location. There was a handbook with lots of helpful info on the neighborhood and dining/entertainment options. Staff were readily available via text and very helpful. Will stay there again.

We had a great stay. The apartment was clean just as the pictures showed. The kitchen had the very basic utensils. It is in a great place lots of places to eat around there. The sofa bed is definetely not to sleep in, very uncomfortable mattress we opened it just to lay down and watch tv. I would definetely stay here again lots of light and check in was very easy.

Very nice place, but lots of stairs and no parking

We only had 4 towels available for 4 adults and 3 children, so we had to wash ours in order for everyone to have one, which was inconvenient. Loved the soaps! Beds were very nice. Everything was clean which is very much appreciated, especially with young kids. Since there was no bathtub, kids took baths in the very large kitchen sink, which worked for us. We were unaware that we would be on the 4th floor, and that meant walking 4 flights of stairs for young children, as well as how far away we would have to park. Those were our only complaints.

This was an unexpected nice place. Every year, there's a big conference in Chicago and all the hotels downtown are expensive. I decided to try this one a little further north in Lincoln Park next to the famous Weiner Circle. It ended up being a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. Very bright and clean and organized. Entry was easy with a keypad and everything was very well organized inside. Only downside was it was a little loud with next door in the patio. Not bad though. I would definitely stay again and have already told my friends who have family visiting to book here.

Clean, cozy, cute, and contemporary.

We loved the location and the Lincoln Park / Lakeview vibe. We just wanted a convenient and clean place to clean up and crash at night, and The Neighborhood Hotel provided that and then some. The complimentary coffee was tasty, and the kitchen was amply supplied. Bed was comfy. Nice cable TV and wifi setup. I liked the simple pre-arrival check-in and the keyless access. 7-Eleven, Target, and Trader Joe's nearby, and tons of places to eat and grab a coffee or cocktail. Very clean!

The property was great. The big down fall of this property is that it doesn't have the traditional bell service a hotel would have. we arrived at 9 am and couldn't check or leave bags until 3 pm forcing us to travel with luggage. Same on day we checked out, having check out time of 11 am and not leaving until 8 pm. This is a huge down fall to this location and would prob stop me from booking again. The hotel sent me a link for a storage place down street but with 2 bags each for the 6 people in my reservation it was over $200 for each day additional to store baggage for a few hours. On the positive side: the room its self was nice. You have 2 private rooms and bathrooms as well as small kitchen area. Great for large families/groups. A lot of food/grocery near by. If they started some sort of system for baggage on location that wouldn't cost customers this place would be amazing.

The room was clean, cozy, and had plenty of amenities. The hotel is in a convenient and walkable neighborhood with lots of shopping and dining options, giving us easy access to attractions such as Wrigley Field and The Second City. The only reason I can’t give our stay a 5 star rating is that we booked and paid for a queen bed, but in reality the room came with a full bed which made for less comfortable and restful sleep for two. Another small qualm is that the track for the sliding bedroom door was not level and therefor the door would roll back open when trying to close it, meaning we couldn’t shut out the morning light from the main room.

We stayed in a very spacious suite, it comfortably accommodated 5 of us with the twin over double bunk beds, the pull out couch, and the queen bed. We were happy that the rooms were bigger than they appear in the photos. We were provided with enough of everything needed over a 3 day stay including coffee. Lovely scented bath/soap products provided as well. Loved all the light from the huge windows in the suite. The hotel was quiet for the most part, just a little noise from the outdoor area of the restaurant next door. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. We parked a distance away at a relative’s house and we were dropped off, so cannot offer advice on the parking. The neighborhood surrounding this hotel is jam packed with restaurants and bars, also Target, TJ Maxx, and Trader Joe’s. Beautiful architectural gems to explore throughout the neighborhood. Very walkable to Lincoln Park and the lakefront. Highly recommend this outpost of the Neighborhood Hotel.

Comfortable place to stay in great location

We enjoyed our stay! Communication about how to get into the building and the room was prompt and clear. The unit was well equipped with soap, lotion, coffee filters and even coffee. We appreciated laundry right in the unit. The place was spacious and nicely decorated. There were helpful notes around explaining how to use things like the dishwasher; helpful touches. It doesn’t come with parking, but we found (paid) street parking within a block every time we needed parking. We also found plenty of restaurants and coffee within a short walk, which was great. Only cons: the hot water wasn’t very hot. Ok for a shower, but just okay. The floors were a little sticky all over the kitchen. There was a really tiny shard of glass on the floor that I cut my foot on (so small it’s understandable that someone missed it). But these two things made me wonder if the place doesn’t get mopped between all guests. Our unit was on the fourth floor. Without an elevator, it was a bit of work packing in and out.
