"The Evergreen is a jewel. Small, modern, comfy and overall clean. We especially appreciated the quietness. Our bed was comfortable. They don’t offer breakfast but our room had a Nespresso machine and the lobby has one also, as well as a flavored water machine. There is also a Peet’s coffee shop right by them.

"Great hotel to stay in when visiting the area. The price per night was very fair. The pool, hot tub, breakfast, room and room amenities were excellent. Whenever there was an issue, staff were very quick to fix. Our smoke alarm battery went into low battery mode in the middle of the night and they had someone replace the battery in under 5 min. "A lovely break and great views. Has the potential to be a 5 atar review but rip off prices for car parking for guests, high costs if restaurant food/drink and variable customer service mean its a 4. Lady who checked us in was amazing, lady who checked us out not. Staff who seated us in restaurant on day 1 2 and 3 great day 4 not. Manager snapped at staff in shop about talking when on shift which wasnt nice. Shop staff great but prices high. 2nd stay and would stay again."

Other guests were friendly.
Very funky historical building, so interesting in that regard.
The hallways were crowded with old furniture and very dusty and dirty. For safety and ease of mobility, those hallways should be open and clear.

"We had the standard room which didn't have a full view of the Marina, but we had a partial view that was still very nice. Rooms and lobby area were cozy, clean and well maintained. Appreciated that there was microwave, small fridge and coffee station; also a laundry room. Additionally we really appreciated the free parking! Stayed 3 nights and enjoyed staying at this little hotel. Only complaint would be on the second day, the bedsheets were not changed and they ran out of washcloths."
