"Rooms are of a good size, clean, quiet and nicely appointed. Plus great amenities including swimming pool, gym and the beautiful view from the rooftop bar. Great staff with excellent hospitality and service. All the staff are helpful, friendly and polite."

"We love this hotel and have stayed before. Rooms are comfortable and clean, staff friendly, close to MRT and Clarke Clarke Quay, breakfast caters to all tastes with plenty to choose from. Down side is that this hotel is showing its age and money needs to be spent (ie. bathrooms, we had shower head that faced into the wall and couldnt be corrected, which we noted at check in. Power points were loose and pose risk). We ate at Blue Potato and my chicken satay was not cooked properly (raw in centre). "

"What a great stay! The location was walking distance to shopping, restaurants, Hawker Centers and an MRT station on property. Bell captain so helpful with money exchange and transportation questions. Pool was quiet and peaceful. Rooms were small but very manageable. Floor to ceiling window overlooking Chinatown was amazing at night. Beds very comfy. Unfortunately, I arrived at 7:00 AM and was told I would need to pay extra day charge to check in early so I left on foot to explore the Gardens by the Bay Area. She told me I could come back at 3:00. I found out later I could have checked in at 11:00 at no charge. Unfortunate but still no regrets. I would stay again in a heartbeat! "

"I stayed in the club room. The benefits were great an the room was amazing. It was luxury. The views were amazing - Marina Bay and Merlion. I was originally meant to stay for 7 nights but due to the Middle East conflict, I arrived several days later. The hotel was kind enough to refund me the nights I did not use. Laundry service was great. Attached to Marina Square and Suntec shopping centre. Walking distance to Marina Bay and Merlion and One Fullerton for views. My only feedback is that as a vegetarian, there was limited food options, especially in the club lounge. Apart from that, it was a wonderful stay and I will most definitely book with again. Thank you for an amazing stay."

"Very central to everything . Transport , shops , eateries , all walking distance Staff are so helpful and friendly. Rooms need to be cleaned more regularly. Smell of mould in our room was very strong . Loose PowerPoints , potential to be dangerous. The pool area was a disappointment."

"This Holiday Inn Express is among the higher-end properties of the group, which my wife and I frequently use worldwide. The Clarke Quay location stands out for being exceptionally clean, well-organized, and efficiently managed. Thoughtful space planning makes it both convenient and comfortable, ideally suited for frequent travelers."

"Room is functional. Has a decent size fridge and a filtered water dispensers. It is nice having the second bar sink with cutlery. A few things to look out for. One is the low water pressure in the shower. The wand barely has enough pressure to clean between the legs. Barely. The second one is the AC. The room has a motion sensor so when you go out it shuts off the lights and AC automatically. Which wouldn't normally be an issue but Singapore is warm. Also if you are a sound sleeper the AC shuts off during the night and you wake up sweaty. Third is when you come back and open the door all the lights come on and the TV. So if someone is sleeping soundly it can be annoying. Trying to figure out the lights switches. They call it a 5* hotel it isn't. It's 4* at most."
