"10/10 Great ryokan: Clean, beautiful, elegant, and distinctly Japanese. Staff were helpful, rooms were clean, and an absouletely stunning view of fuji (when it was more clear). Regardless of the view, there was an astounding depth of diverse activities/things to do, between the garden walks, the hot springs, the wine bar, the tea, the kimono rental, and the taiko show at the end of the night. "I came with little expectations, but was really pleased with this hotel. The outdoor onsen is really nice. The corridor is a bit noisy when someone walks by. Some dust and spider webs in the top shelfs but nothing really bad"

"ホテル側から事前に食物アレルギー有無や交通手段の問合せがあり、苦手な食材を伝えることができた。またcheck in時間より30分位早く到着しても部屋に案内できると記載があり、とても有難かった。 高速下りてから早川沿いの道が長く、またリニア工事のダンプが往来しているので、運転に緊張が強いられた。"

"Wish I could leave more than 5 stars! We had an amazing time and were really sad to leave. The staff were all so kind and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious and we loved the hot tub in our room. A truly incredible stay for families - we really hope to come back one day!"

"We did select a room with a Mt Fuji view but i should have selected one with lake view. those are much better. The food was really good (breakfast and diner). Transportation could be improved around the lake (difficult to find a bus after 5pm and taxis are also very sparse)"
