"It’s a pretty old hotel so I expected it to show its age a bit and it did. The thing that was dirty was our first batch of towels that were in our room when we arrived. There was makeup swiped across the first towel I grabbed when I stepped out of the shower and then the second one was clean. Then my husband took a shower and grabbed a towel that had clothing sticker tag stuck on it. We did go down to the front desk and get new towels with some warm cookies that night. Other than the towels the shower was really good and the beds were very comfy and they were clean. I checked everything thoroughly after the towel incident. The location was good for us. We wanted to be in a central location where we could visit with different family and friends while we were there. Overall, it wasn’t a bad place to stay. The staff were all really nice and hospitable. The parking was ample and free."
"Clean room, once we turned the air conditioner on it cooled the room quick. Bathroom was clean, breakfast was good, staff was friendly. If we're in the area again we will stay here again."
"Hotel was immaculately clean. Staff was very friendly and kind. Hotel room not only appeared to be clean but also smelled clean. They had the hotel room set to a comfortable temperature when we got there instead of it being hot and sticky. Check in and out were both smooth and simple. Will definitely be staying again if we ever venture back to Johnson City."
"Had a wonderful stay at Red Roof! Everything went smoothly from start to finish with zero issues. The room was clean, comfortable, and made for a completely hassle-free experience. I’d definitely stay here again!"
"Most excellent stay, will go out of my way 15 miles to stay here next trip. The breakfast is a real buffet of scrambled eggs, sausage, and the best biscuits and gravy. Plus the usual waffles and all the other goodies. The breakfast staff keeps the lobby spotless clean, wiped down tables and fresh everything. Staff is absolutely pleasant and helpful. The pool was clean and well cared for. Grounds are well maintained."
