"My four-night stay at Hotel Don Ernesto La Chimba was wonderful, highlighted by the friendly staff and the absolutely excellent breakfast spread. The location is incredibly peaceful, tucked away in the jungle yet conveniently just 30 minutes from the airport. While some reviewers highlight that the rooms aren't Ritz-Carlton quality, I think it is important to note that the prices certainly reflect that, and the hotel offers tremendous value for an authentic and relaxing stay."

"There just are not enough stars available to accurately rate how wonderful this property is. Very good location in Santa Ana, close to stores, restaurants etc, about 20 minutes to airport. Pool was lovely, sunset views from the fire pit are amazing. Laundry is on premises and the staff was friendly and able to answer my questions in English and understand my broken Spanish. If I had to find anything to pass a judgment it was reserving the grill. We wanted to use the grill at 530 and was told we...
