Yes you will hear noise from the street early in the morning, but for a couple of days, that's fine. You're in one of the busiest tourist spots you'll ever visit. We would stay again. "We stayed for our honeymoon and loved the view. But unfortunately the first room we were placed in had a funky smell and after a few days of it not going away my wife was getting a headache and we also noticed there was mold on the walls of the bathroom and peeling wall paper with some water damage. We asked to move rooms and were placed in a new room and that shower also had a leak that left the floor towel soaked after each shower. We did have attentive staff when we asked for help. "Hotel Villa Paradiso was a beautiful and charming hotel set right on the edge of Taormina. It was very accessible to the park and nature reserve. It was a 4 minute walk to Corso Umberto and only 10 minutes to the amphitheater. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was very polite and helpful."
