"La Calcina is the perfect place to stay in Venice. The location is perfect, you can walk to the main places of interest. Everywhere else is accessible from the water bus stop nearby. Our room was amazing, with fabulous views. The only negative was the variable temperature of the shower. Samuel, Lorella and all the staff at the front desk were helpful and friendly. All the waiting staff were also very friendly and welcoming."

"Rooms were clean, location was great only a 1 min walk from water taxi which was really convenient, 4 min walk to all the high end shopping, and close to restaurants. Only complaint is the air conditioner worked but was a little weak."
