"A very nice hotel in a great location with very helpful and friendly staff. The room and facilities were all great, comfortable, modern and clean (one of the two story rooms on the fourth floor).
The location is great as everything is walkable. The street outside can be a bit busy with traffic during peak hours but otherwise was fine at night, and the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel is very nice and has some great breakfast options.
My only pedantic complaint would be that the stairs in...
"We stayed at Hotel Gounod for one night in September! It was so pleasant. From the easy check in, clean room, great breakfast in the AM, and its location … we loved it! They even held our bags for us after check out until we were ready to leave Nice. I would definitely recommend!"
"J'ai séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hôtel lors d'une formation. Les chambres sont immenses et bien équipées, la literie très confortable. Le petit déjeuner à 12€ est vraiment complet. Je vous recommande de demander une chambre côté cour car il y a beaucoup de bruit côté route.
C'est un esat c'est-à-dire que l'établissement fait travailler des personnes handicapées ce qui donne un côté très familial et agréable.
Par contre, je n'irai pas pour un séjour en famille à Nice car le quartier est assez...
"First be advised that to get to this Beautique hotel you must enter entrance of Code’Azur hotel. You will not see Maison Durante from the one way street. Chloe was outstanding! She welcomed us and help finding a parking. We had to pay for two parking slots since parking is not easy on this place ( at least has a parking!). This place is not easy for people with moving difficulties. There are many stairs although once inside there is a small elevator to the second floor. For breakfast you can...

"Stay was great! Great area, friendly staff, and grounds were beautiful the hotel! The only thing it was a bit noisy where our room was located and since they have uneven cement flooring we heard all the room service carts go by when in the room. "

Maids will not enter your room when you are out to tidy, clean and make the beds, though a member of staff did offer us clean towels when we needed them. For those on a budget, there are facilities for preparing and eating food in the rooms. Everything is clean and well appointed. "Funky styling, a little Ikea random in places but doesn’t take itself too seriously. Staff were really helpful, breakfast included and really excellent. Room was absolutely fine and quiet. Slight letdown was the shower which was pretty basic but it worked ok. It wasn’t cheap but it was a good stay for a night. Would definitely return and recommend "
