"Most of the staff is always great and helpful. This trip (one of many times I’ve stayed at the property) I ran into a rather rude front desk person. You can tell a lot about a hotel by the quality of their towels. For an IHG brand that is supposed to be a step up from Holliday Inn (which this hotel was ) the bath towels have grown thin from over use. Little things."

"The hotel itself as well as the staff was fine. The room. We were in was AWFUL!! There was mold or mildew and it smelled. Our eyes were swollen in the morning. Every time you leave then come back the room smell over powers you. We were in room 228. So If you're gonna stay, maybe ask for a room on a different floor. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great. But the mold/ mildew/ stale smoke smell made it miserable! I was so happy to check out and not have to walk back I to that room!"

"#1)They checked us into a room that was already being used. We went in the room and someone’s stuff was in the room! #2) After we got a non-occupied room, the air conditioning unit was SO noisy. But not in a nice relaxing white noise way. More like it sounded like a tarp flapping in the wind and rattling like crazy. #3) Also, NO HOT WATER!!! Beware! Several nights we let it run for about 20 minutes and it never got hotter than lukewarm. Only one night out of our 5 night stay did we have hot water. #4) no parking at the hotel unless you want to pay valet $60 per night!! So be mindful that there aren’t parking options unless you pay to park. We found a place a block away that was $21 a night."

"Beautiful nostalgic hotel with nice lounging and breakfast areas. Hotel room was spacious, clean and decorated and large bathroom with ample shelving for hygiene products. Great gym as well. Breakfast was excellent with healthy options. Home fries were amazing fresh & tasty. Staff were very friendly and courteous."
