"This hotel is set away from the hustle and bustle but still very close to restaurants and shopping. Our granddaughters loved the heated pool. The breakfast offers a good selection. It is also in a very spacious room so it does not feel crowded. Our room was a good size and with a microwave and fridge snacks and quick meals are possible. We plan to return next time in Ottawa. "

"We were disappointed with the coffee machine in our room. The quantity it makes is small and not hot. The shower was terrible, no pressure and it was very difficult to control water temp. Wifi was not adequate: one of our devices wouldn’t log in and it worked everywhere else."

"Rom was clean but tv did not have s clear picture. Staff were ok but instructions to leave key in room because of our very early departure at 4am created a problem for the manager as she called me in Florida complaining that I had not checked out properly.,even as I had pre-paid my stay and they had my crdit card on file."

"Hotel was in tip top shape. Room was large and clean as were the common areas. We had an early flight out of Ottawa so we didn't use the shuttle as it starts running at 5:00 AM and we needed to be at the airport before then. It's about a 6 minute drive to the Ottawa airport."

"The hotels looks aged and shower so slow, barely water running. The bed is too soft, didn’t sleep at all "

"The hotel is very chaotic when you enter. There is no staff and you cannot call room service or the front desk at any time. They connect you to ai then from ai they connect you to a call center in Orlando. They never connect you to anyone who works there at anytime and it makes asking for fresh towels or even a simple coffee impossible. I wouldn’t stay here again. "

"Absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was great from the WiFi to the complimentary breakfast. Very relaxing and every staff member was smiling and polite. "

"Stayed at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Ottawa Kanata and honestly… excellent from start to finish. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, great service, and everything felt well taken care of. Easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at — I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend if you’re in the Ottawa area!"

"Under construction, no mention on website before booking. Reception was major construction area, my room was directly above, construction still taking place after 11pm. complained, staff told me they asked the contractors but they were being ignored. Finally stopped at 12:10am. Staff member apologized and told me the GM said I would have a reduced rate. When I checked out, no reduced rate and no one knew about it. Don't stay here would be my summary."
