"This is a former motel for sure. I was put on the first floor and didn’t feel the normal aloft feeling I get as I have stayed at their other properties around the world. The 7 foot ceiling on the main floor going my room screamed old motel 6 vibes. … Breakfast was standard scrambled eggs, sausage, oats and applied. Pool area was so large however pool it self can only likely fit 3-5 adults. I recommend the property owner conver that pool to a hot tub and make a bigger pool. Overall pool was...

"This hotel is showing its age, but it was clean. The breakfast was okay with some hot and cold options, but not spectacular. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly, helping us navigate the uncertainty of a loved one admitted to the Foothills hospital."

"Amazing stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton Calgary Downtown! The hotel is modern, spotless, and very well maintained. Our room was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was included and absolutely delicious—possibly the best hotel breakfast we’ve had. Honestly, no complaints at all. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!"

"A lot of extra expenses that are not covered. Parking being number 1. Its an extra $36 to park a vehicle for 18hrs overnight, when the sign clearly says $24 daily rate. Plus the restaurant is very expensive for the portions that you receive. The room itself was great, but the added little things make it a much worse “deal” then it initially says."

"We chose the Hotel Arts Kensington since it was within walkable distance to the peace bridge and local parks. What we found out when we got there was that the hotel is surrounded by construction so we ended up with an ok hotel at very high prices with construction around it. The breakfast was also basic at best. Hotel prices may be high in Calgary but we certainly did not get value from this stay. The room was nice but poorly lit."

"Was only here one night. Hard to get a real feel for it. From past stays at Sheratons this one falls below expectations. Restaurant foods not great and the rooms could be cleaner. Pretty hard to sleep as well with a balcony facing the highway. But the staff was great."
