"This property is an old, but well maintained set of buildings on a main but quiet street, within walking distances of restaurants and a supermarket. It has extensive, beautiful gardens and multiple pools. It reminds me of the best traditional S African guesthouses of 30y ago. The staff is very nice, breakfast is amazing, and during the bloom, the whole town is redolent of orange blossoms. Highly recommended."

"Our stay absolutely blew us away. The tent was stunning with a private pool and fire pit. To top it off it was the clearest night sky filled with more stars than I’ve ever seen and breakfast delivered to the tent in the morning was a lovely touch. The staff were fantastic and truly went above and beyond to make the experience special. We loved the entire stay and honestly didn’t want to leave⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"Was not quite what I expected. Located literally in a mountain pass with traffic driving past. The room doesnt have a fridge. It has a cooler but what good is that if you want to pack some items of your own to stay properly cold. You are given a kitchen sink in your room. A microwave would also be a good option. For what you pay to stay, it is not worth it. The restaurant has a limited menu. The location is remote and far from any shops. There is a Spar in Citrusdal, a 10 minute drive away. We stayed almost a week. Asked housekeeping to change our pillow cases once. They did not do this. This was the only request from housekeeping. The Spa is excellent and privately owned. That made up for the disappointment in the hotel."
