"We had a two night stay at this guesthouse and for the price we paid had no real complaints. The room was small but adequate for our needs. However, street noise during the night can be problematic there was also a problem with the radiator making it unbearably hot during the night. A basic breakfast is provided which may not suite everyone but was just enough to get us started for the day. The staff member on duty was pleasant, friendly and helpful. A nice touch was the discounted and the vicinity of the nearby car park."
"We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in an ideal position next to the old town. All of the staff were friendly, professional and made us feel very welcome. The building is lovely, old and quirky. We stayed in one of the luxury rooms with a standalone bath in the main bedroom (as well as a separate shower room). Nice room, although we felt that the bath was unnecessary as it took up far too much room, making it a little cramped. It also meant that the TV had to be situated at a tight right angle to the bed and seating area. Refreshments in the room were replenished daily and the room was cleaned to a high standard. Parking was plentiful on sight, but I did think it was a bit steep to pay £15 per night via Ringo. This meant a further £45 cost to our 3 night stay. I guess that is sadly becoming the norm with city breaks. We would however stay again due to the friendliness of staff and location to the town."
"We stayed in one of the lodges. There were some maintenance issues. There were some broken tiles on one of the bathroom floors. It could have also been a little cleaner. But it was a good location for a wedding we attended. The breakfast was lovely and had a great selection. The staff were also very attentive."
"Very friendly welcoming hotel. Very convenient for walks, a very comfortable Tankerton is lovely and ita only an easy 20 mins walk to Whitstable town, but local shops nearby and sea front iceceam and teas on the seafront. Very good hotel for dogs
Car parking in October was fine close to hotel on beach front road and free. I imagine that parking in peak season is difficult but probably still easier than parking in Whitstable."
"Well located for city centre visits, good transport links, as well ... & a private car park for guests, too!
Booked one night this time but would be happy to rebook in future ."
