"The room was cold on arrival. An air conditioning unit was the source of heat and this took a long time to warm us up! Otherwise a nice hotel"

"The noisiest hotel I have stayed in. Heard people coughing, their tv and others using their bathroom sink. The age of the building showed. Carvery ok but Beef too tough to eat. Breakfast was fine and good value. Staff fabulous."

"Small single room, nicely decorated and simply furnished. Fabulous view of the cathedral. The place is clean and quiet, I loved it and when I can afford it I will definitely stay again. The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. The breakfast was also really nice and the dining room is very calm and comfortable. One little niggle, the shower was very small and not very powerful. "

"About a 20-minute walk from the centre, this place is in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, which made arrival completely stress-free. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. With a relatively late check-in time and quite an early check-out, a later check-out option would be much appreciated. "Great location, right in the centre of town but did mean our room, with single glazed windows, was extremely noisy. Other than that, everything was great about the hotel and room. The staff were great, the breakfast delicious, the room and bathroom were huge and well appointed."
