"Both the single room and the bathroom were of a good size and clean.
The window however was dirty and difficult to open and close. The original mechanism was replaced with a simple hinge and nail. With the window being fairly high up, it was impossible to lift it in and out of the hinge without climbing on a chair. This in itself can be dangerous."

"My mom and I considered ourselves lucky to get to be hosted by such a considerate host. The house was cozy with lots of thoughtful touches. We definitely say again. Excellent value for the price."

"Our hosts Sandy and Cathy are just great people. Such good coversations with them during breakfast and we received plenty of pertinent information to help us for our visit around Glasgow and Edinburg."

"Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate,clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed "
